Despite primary care for LGBTQ patients being virtually the same as everyone else, those in the LGBTQ community often face barriers to healthcare, often relating to gender identity and sexuality. Being gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or gender non-conforming is not genetically or biologically unique. However, social stigmas and marginalization create health disparities in LGBTQ-friendly healthcare, and many primary care centers are not comfortable with or accepting of patients who fall into the "other" category.

Please understand that we are NOT well versed or experienced nor are we going to provide HIV/ AIDS care or gender transition care, but we WILL provide primary care and everything within our expertise (and scope of practice) to individuals who fall into these categories.
